( Untitled) a voice in the dark

( Untitled) a voice in the dark, 2013,

engraved glass, glow sticks, and a darkroom

Text on glass reads:
" The sun ain't been seen
through
the shade leaf and green

dotted and dashed
like a tramp-man's cash.

Booted and shooed
it should have been cooed.

it gazes our face
a wish on a phase.

Freedom un-heard
to sing like a bird.

I couldn't be miss-heard."

" A glimpse of red"

" A glimpse of red", MDF, watercolour paper, water-colours, ink, string and acrylic paint, 2011

An illustration for my Novel Messenger Boy ( still being edited)

Extract:

"They feed from the darkness those strange beings, like sunlight and us no one knows how or why they came into existence. They spread fast un-reluctantly over every life, every settlement, the flowers are dead and the fields are grey, trees falling and scents fading. They are coming the destruction is here already".
