Guinea P art and me

Guinea P art and me, A5 lined paper, biro watercolours, a response to a performance, 2014

This is a second in the moment response to the Guinea P tea performance, the movement and action with this piece cannot be replicated, almost like the pages of a sketchbook.

Guinea P enjoy your tea

Guinea P enjoy your tea,  A5 lined paper, biro, watercolour paints, response to a performance, 2014

This was a response to the Guinea P tea performance the poem is immediate and almost scribbled illustrated with quick  references to the performance and  poem. It has been torn out of a sketchbook as it is an in the moment response to an event passed and cannot be replicated.

I Think... Adrian ...

Clay, Watercolour Paint, Crystal Resin, Glass Paint, 2014

Adrian is the face of a passing thought, recorded in clay by my actions at the time of thinking, he is an abstract something which even I cant pull from the depths of my mind. An automatic manifestation of whatever was going through my mind at the time. He is abstract and automatic and protected by a half clear half murky shell, that makes it impossible for this thought to leave its strangely shaped and highly experimental bubble. Trying to pull Adrian out of his shell is like somebody trying to have a conversation with me. It is deep and in there somewhere but not quite ready to come out.

I Think... is an ongoing experimental project about thought, while I think I react physically to the materials before me almost like doodling in 3D. The conceived Adrian ( the face of the passing thought) is then cast, ( or protected from the outside world) by a thick bubble of colour-clouded crystal resin.
